For children the beach is possibly the greatest playground from building sandcastles, digging holes, collecting sea shells or just splashing and playing in the surf.

Plus, our 10m indoor heated pool offers a shallow child friendly dip.

For older children the beach is a complete escape from routine and a true reminder of what nature really has to offer.

With the fresh sea air in their lungs you’ll be surprised to see your teenager with a new lust for life! Running around happily playing beach games, posing for fun seaside pictures, reading books and merrily chatting whilst watching the sea gently lap at their toes.

We stayed here for 4 days last week, we had a sea view room on the third floor, fell asleep each night listening to the sound of the waves, idyllic! The hotel is exceptionally clean, rooms are large and comfortable and the staff were friendly and polite. The hotel is right on the beach! A great place for a family holiday.

Thoroughly enjoyable stay. Spacious family room with a lovely view of Poole harbour. Clean and well presented. Direct beach access from the terrace. Food was really great! Had one meal in the Italian restaurant and another in the sea view restaurant. Both meals were great and the service was brilliant

Stayed last night in a deluxe sea view room with 2 young children. Really impressed, having only stayed at sister hotel The Haven pre-children before. Kids were well accommodated, had a separate lounge area with two single beds for them and a dressing area beyond. Each area had a separate door out onto the balcony which was wide and safe for the kids (supervised!) with a table and chairs and beautiful 180 degree views from Hengistbury head to Old Harry Rocks.
